This is one of the most attractive and ambient restaurants in Rehoboth. There are live birds chirping in the window and in cages throughout the restaurant and live fish swim in a small stream that runs through the floor of the seating area. Diners can choose to sit at the sushi bar to partake in selected maki like the Delaware (avocado asparagus cucumber and squash) Japanese Bagel (smoked salmon cream cheese and scallions) or O.C. (shrimp tempura avocado and lettuce with spicy mayo); sushi such as octopus quail egg and surf clam; and sashimi. There are also daily specials. Of course all these options may also be ordered at your table. Or you can try the Japanese tuna (pan seared with wasabi cream) Asian quail (the whole bird with an Asian marinade) and stuffed salmon (with with goat cheese and basil).There is also an impressive selection of Thai entrees including shrimp pad thai green curry beef curry duck Thai lamb and Thai lemongrass soup.The service can be erratic but the food -- which is among the most interesting and flavorful to be found at the beach -- tends to arrive quickly (despite a warning on the menu that suggests each dish could take a minimum of half an hour to arrive) and without flaws.
