It's worth the trip to New Ideal Diner just to see the 1952 vintage stainless steel diner car with green enamel strips. There are dinner specials under $10 (though the regular menu ranges higher) and a small breakfast menu which is served all day. Put some quarters in the table juke box and soak up the nostalgia.
