The constantly changing and surprising beer list makes this Fells Point corner bar a near lock for one of this list's highest spots on a yearly basis. Max's takes beer seriously. The city doesn't have a more vital beer resource than Max's 140 rotating drafts and roughly 1200 bottled beers. But Max's is more than just a house for rare beers: It's an ideal place to kick back with a date or some friends. It's unfathomable to think of Fells Point without thinking of Max's.
