The Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center is one of four senior centers sponsored by Montgomery County Department of Recreation. It is distinguished by being the first senior center to be built in the state of Maryland in 1972. The center includes a large auditorium with a full stage an arts and crafts room a self-serve library a card room and the best billiard room available to seniors in Montgomery County.
