In 2006 Metromix crowned Higgins Wharf OC's worst seafood buffet. So what happened? That winter the restaurant shut down and was retooled into a more upscale a la carte venue (because Metromix has that kind of pull...). Happily the food is better (it would have to be -- the buffet touted hot dogs). Thank goodness for small favors.
