Famous for their chili there are four types to choose from: Texas Cincinnati Terlingua Red and Vegetarian each having a distinct flavor. The menu also features burgers sandwiches and salads though the secret weapon at Hard Times is the wings. Available either grilled or fried the wings are cooked with a multitude of different sauces; Honey BBQ is a particular favorite.
There is a long bar along the left hand side of the restaurant but there are also plenty of tables and booths available for seating. Hard Times maintains a neighborhood atmosphere with plenty of TVs to catch the game. Casual and friendly Hard Times is a great pick for an easy meal in Bethesda.
