Chick and Ruth's has offered respite for late-night snackers for decades. The 1930s-style diner also offers some welcome old school quirks. For instance the Pledge of Allegiance (Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 a.m.) is recited every morning breakfast is served all day and there's often a local politician in attendance.
