The ambiance can be annoyingly family-friendly and the crowd is mainly made up of neighborhood stalwarts but Zen is a good place to pop into for a quick meal. The soups are soul-healing the steamed veggie dumplings are spot-on and the entrees (ranging from curries to garlic-based sauces) don't pork you out only to leave you hungry 30 minutes later.
