There are songs of idealism and innocence; and songs meant to be sung in a slinky black dress. Vocalist Wendy Baird draws from a wide variety of theatre and cabaret songs to portray the wide-eyed ingenue, the sophisticated siren, and everything in between. Wendy has been a fixture on Maryland's musical and theatrical scene for over 20 years. She is accompanied by pianist Jonathan Jensen, a Baltimore Symphony member and musical chameleon. They have collaborated several times, having last appeared together at Germano's in a reading of "Do It Now," Jonathan's musical-in-development about the celebrated mayoral career of the late William Donald Schaefer.
