The distribution of income and wealth in the US has been widening. The trend is alarming, but many believe that it can be reversed. Scholars, community leaders, policy makers, students and the general public, will discuss economic inequality and opportunity gaps and also explore ways to mitigate impacts on our social, political, and cultural fabric. March 31st is devoted to discussing Baltimore and efforts to transform low-opportunity neighborhoods. Organized by the CSD, SMCM, and the NCIA.
