Olney Theatre Center presents two of Gilbert & Sullivan's comedic musicals: The Mikado, which pokes fun at late 1800s British politics in a Japanese setting; and The Pirates of Penzance, about an apprentice indentured to pirates until his 21st birthday who meets and falls in love with the daughter of a major general. The only problem is that his birthday falls on a leap year, meaning he'll have to work 63 years and hopes that his love with wait for him that long. Located in the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab. Call for days and times.
