Take a walking and driving tour of Roland Park and Guilford, accompanied by local experts. Field Studies participants will explore the Olmsted Brothers streetscapes and green spaces in these influential suburban developments. This program is offered through Johns Hopkins University’s Odyssey Program. Ann G. Giroux, author of Guilford, will lead an armchair tour of Guilford from country estate to Gilded Age suburban splendor. The presentation will include many early photographs of Olmsted Brothers streetscapes and parks and the homes and gardens for which the community is so well known.
