Screening of the movie Selma followed by a panel discussion led by State Senator Lisa Gladden. The panel discussion will help attendees glean from the movie the challenges and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the civil rights leaders of his era and will detail how those challenges still confront the nation today via voting rights, economic inequality, a flawed justice system, to name a few.
