The Collaborative Theatre Co. announces their next co-production: The Elephant Man by Bernard Pomerance. Winner of a Tony, Drama Desk, and New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play, The Elephant Man is based on the life of Englishman John Merrick. A horribly deformed young man living in 19th Century London, Merrick becomes the star freak attraction in traveling side shows. Grayson Owen will perform the role solely relying on physicality, without the aid of prostheses or makeup.
