The Aspen String Trio - David Perry, violin; Victoria Chiang, viola; and Michael Mermagen, cello - will perform a recital of Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, BWV 988; Richard Strauss' Variations on a Bavarian Folk Song, ("Das Deandl is haub auf mi") for string trio; and Ludwig van Beethoven's String Trio in G major, Op. 9, No. 1 with Jonathan Palevsky narrating. This is the second in Peabody's Variations on Goldberg series. Takes place in Leith Symington Griswold Hall.
