Stevenson University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies will host a symposium, “Closing the Gap: Healthcare Disparities,” on Wednesday, April 20, at the school’s Owings Mills, Md. campus from 6 to 8 p.m. The symposium will examine how scientific breakthroughs have improved the health and life expectancy of some Americans, yet disparities among certain segments of the population still exist due to a wide range of factors.
