Charm City Baroque observes the feast of St. Michael the Archangel with Telemann's rousing cantata about St. Michael and the Dragon. The program continues with two of Bach's finest instrumental sonatas (for violin and viola da gamba) and concludes with Marin Marais' monumental "La gamme" ("The Scale"), a half-hour instrumental "opera" which explores most of the major and minor keys. Concert is free of charge but donations will be gratefully accepted.
