Govans Presbyterian Church will host Charm City Labor Chorus concert and Soul Kitchen fundraiser on September 17 at 6:00 pm. Folk/Rock duo In The Clear opens the event. Raffle and reception with gourmet appetizers will follow. Cash bar available. All proceeds will benefit Soul Kitchen, a free community meal served the 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month. Soul Kitchen is organized, prepared and staffed by volunteers who eat and talk with guests to help break down barriers within the community.
