The Awakening Project Baltimore is a Christian movement which seeks to activate young adults, ages 18-35, from all backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses to transform their communities through selfless acts of service. Based on the article, "Black Activism, Unchurched" by Emma Green (The Atlantic), we hope to create an open space for millennials, community leaders and officials to discuss the church's role in addressing the issues we commonly face in the Black community.
