Loving Arms, Inc. will host their Inaugural 5K Run/2K Walk Sneakers on the Ground to Fight Youth Homelessness on Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Druid Hill Park, at the lake. The entire City of Baltimore has over 2,000 runaway and homeless children a year and has only one shelter, with 8 beds, that specifically serve these children. With the proceeds and donations from this event, Loving Arms, Inc. will help to provide for the basic needs of these children, which include food, shelter, and clothing. Baltimore youth’s lives matter! Registration is available online at www.lovingarmsinc.com. All participants receive a race T-shirt and additional promotional items from sponsors. Refreshments will be served during and after the race, while participants enjoy plenty of family centered entertainment, and other vendor surprises.
