"Sing Me a Dream: Music and Protest" is an original, four-movement suite for a 17-piece orchestra, written by Benny Russell and featuring the Morgan State University Jazz Ensemble and spoken texts from Langston Hughes, Ossie Davis and James Weldon Johnson. "Sing Me a Dream" is part of the Hays-Heighe House's exhibit, "Voices of Change: Social Protest Through the Arts and Humanities."
