"The Mystery of Edgar Allan Poe's Last Days in Baltimore" will be presented by noted local author, Christopher T. George. Poe, whose birthday will be celebrated on January 19th, was mentioned in the first Holmes story, A Study in Scarlet. In addition, Holmes' creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, acknowledges Poe as the inventor of the detective story genre. Lunch will be ordered off a specially designed menu and there will be discussion of news of Sherlock Holmes.
