Goucher College presents a lecture by historian Saul Cornell in honor of national Constitution Day. Cornell, the Paul and Diane Guenther Chair in American History at Fordham University , will deliver a lecture on “The Second Amendment and the Future of Gun Control: Forgotten Lessons From American History.” The event will take place in Merrick Lecture Hall, at 7 pm, Thursday September 17. Cornell is the author of several books on the founding fathers, gun control, and Second Amendment law, including A Well-Regulated Militia, and editor of The Second Amendment Goes to Court: Critical Essays on District of Columbia v.
