On Thursday, June 9th, local refugee youth will transform City Hall’s North Courtyard Gallery. Baltimore City Community College Refugee Youth Project (RYP) presents Sanctuary. This mixed media exhibition explores themes of home, identity, and collective visions of community. The opening reception will feature an interactive art display and a chance to meet the artists –Local Refugee Youth from Burma, Sudan, Eritrea and Iraq, and RYP’s Community Arts Facilitator, Ben Hamburger.
