Sabine Heinlein, the author of Among Murderers: Life after Prison, will talk about her narrative nonfiction practice. Born and raised in Germany, Heinlein has written about art and culture for The New York Times, The Guardian, Psychology Today, and many other publications. Heinlein will discuss how and why she writes about society’s marginalized and forgotten—convicted murderers, psychotics, clowns, conspiracy theorists, outsider artists and victims of suicide.
