We swing the doors to the building wide open for a party to celebrate our Resident Artist program with a performance by Rye Rye, adored B’more rapper, dancer, and songstress. Rye Rye dominates the dance floor with a hardcore club style that incorporates Baltimore club, electro, and hip hop - all delivered with her unique voice. When she was only 15-years-old, she left a message on Baltimore DJ Blaqstarr’s answering machine, a partnership developed, she was introduced to Philly producer DIPLO, and her career was launched . Soon, she had a hit with “Shake it to the Ground” on M.I.A’s N.E.E.T label. In 2012, Billboard named her one of their “21 under 21” to watch.
