The St. David’s Recital and Evensong series continues with a pre-service recital featuring pianist Sungpil Kim. Praised for performances infused with “magic in atmosphere, individuality, and poise,” Kim has appeared as soloist with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and at the Queen Elizabeth Competition. The recital features music of Franz Schubert and local composers Christopher Ciampoli and Aaron Gage. The Service of Evensong continues at 5 pm with music of Gabriel Fauré and Edward Bairstow.
