(/plɑːnˈʃɛt/ or /plænˈʃɛt/) noun a small triangular or heart-shaped board (usually wooden) believed to produce spirit writing when lightly touched by the fingers. Hosted by the Carroll Mansion in downtown Baltimore, Mr. Maxwell Fink, noted parapsychologist and researcher of the Ouija® Talking Board, will lead guests through a truly thrilling evening of theater, magic and mystery. Audiences will be among the very first to experience The Fink Method for Contacting the Dead and its three tenants of: TRUST, COHESION, and TRANSMISSION. PLANCHETTE was inspired by turn-of-the-century "phantasmagorical" rituals designed to lift the veil and contact the other side. Be warned, though; when a Door opens, there's no telling what will come through. Limited to 20 guests per evening Mr. Fink prefers to keep the experience intimate. This show is highly experiential and the chances that you will be become part of the action are extremely likely. Audience members must be 18 years old or older. Unfortunately, the historic Carroll Mansion is not wheelchair accessible. Cocktail attire required; besides you don't want to be the only one at the party not having fun. All ticket sales are final, some allowances may be made for switching attendance date dependent on availability.
