Pet Valu is hosting its annual Pet Appreciation Month this April to raise money and collect pet food, treats and toys for local animal shelters. The month-long celebration will culminate with a Pet Adoption Weekend on April 22-24. Local rescues, and BARCS, will be in-store facilitating the adoptions of homeless and abandoned animals that are in need of a forever home. Guests can expect educational demonstrations, face painting and other family-friendly activities.
