Baltimore's Lunar Ensemble brings its extraordinary talent to the War Memorial for a residency in the 2015-2016 concert season. Their opening event, "Old Text Woven New," features three works inspired by Shakespeare, all by living composers. The program includes Paul Moravec's Pulitzer Prize-winning "Tempest Fantasy," local composer Douglas Buchanan's "Prospero Variations," and Canadian David Passmore's "Dark Lady Sonnets."
