Conductor Marin Alsop leads the BSO in Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony on Thursday, April 9, at 8 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and Sunday, April 12, at 3 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore. These concerts will feature guest soloist Adam Walker and will include works by Shostakovich and Puts. Additionally, Marin Alsop and the BSO will present an Off the Cuff performance of Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony on Friday, April 10, at 8:15 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore and Saturday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. These performances will provide commentary about the symphony and are written and directed by Didi Balle.
