Benedick and Beatrice are too busy cracking jokes to realize they're falling in love, but a tragedy among friends tests their friendship. Shakespeare's sublime romantic comedy, Much Ado About Nothing, gets a Downton Abbey-inspired makeover with WWI-era ragtime-jazz music and dance, period costumes, and set that recreates an English manor. Guest director is Matthew R. Wilson, a founder of Faction of Fools Theatre in Washington, D.C. Chesapeake Shakespeare Company presents Much Ado About Nothing, Sept. 18- Oct. 11, 2015, with evening shows Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm, and matinees Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. Seating is now all-reserved now, with adult, senior, student and child ticket price levels. Doors open 45 minutes before showtime.
