Mitchel Evan & The Mangrove is a three piece band that formed in the Colorado front range just outside of Boulder, and although the group considers themselves a Colorado Band, not one of the members is originally from The Centennial State. Dave Janssen (bassist) is from Baltimore, Maryland; Connor Craven (lead guitar) is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Mitchel Evan, the group’s frontman and songwriter was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia.
