Everyone has a story to tell, and writing a memoir is a great way to share yours. One way to make your memoir stand out from the crowd is to apply the techniques of fiction to writing nonfiction. In this workshop, we will focus on writing scenes and sequels (i.e., the narrative section following the scene). We will have in-class writing exercises and critiques of participants’ works-in-progress. We will also examine scene/sequel combinations in The Glass Castle, by Jeannette Walls. Open to beginners and experienced writers. Registration closes July 20. Register today by emailing info@litmore.org, calling 443-595-7548, or purchasing a ticket at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1697119 Barbara Morrison, who writes under the name B.
