Dubbed 2013's legal champion of the year, Paul Bland is known nationally for his fight against mandatory arbitration clauses. On November 7th, Bland will speak at the Maryland Consumers Rights Coalition 2013 Annual Awards Celebration. Lea Gilmore, MCRC's Consumer Advocate of the Year, and Delegate Duke Clippinger will also be in attendance. MCRC's award celebration will shed light on the ways mandatory arbitraton clauses impede on consumer rights, making it more difficult to receive a jtrial by ury of their peers.
