The 1st Biennial Maryland Sunflower Festival is set to take place on Sunday, September 11th from 12:00 – 5:00 pm at the historic Verdant Valley Farm in Monkton, Maryland. In the weeks of late summer, over 2.8 million sunflowers will flourish and bloom on 150+ acres of land. Visitors can enjoy a day of fun in the sunflowers, live music, local artists/vendors, and children’s activities. Food and beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase.
