Calling all interested in nature, parks and the environment. The Lake Roland Nature Center is hosting a Maryland Master Naturalist Training (MNT) this spring. MNT consists of 60 hours of classroom and hands-on experience in a variety of subjects such as botany, entomology, herpetology, and ornithology. Classes are taught by university professors and experts in the field. Those who complete the training are then committed to volunteer 40 hours/year at Lake Roland to maintain certification.
