Man of La Mancha tells the story of Miguel de Cervantes who, after being thrown into prison by the Spanish Inquisition, performs his play, Don Quixote, to state his case in a mock trial. Beautiful melodies and a 16th century dungeon provide the backbone for this Tony Award-winning musical. Man of La Mancha won five Tony Awards, including best musical and best score.
