Youth, ages ten to eighteen, from our Growing Griots Literacy Learning Program (GGLLP) will offer living history presentations. Donning period costumes, they will assume the character of historical personalities such as Ida B. Wells and Henry "Box" Brown. Storytelling, dance, drumming, and singing will also be featured. Performances will happen throughout the day.
