LIVING CLASSROOMS FOUNDATION’S MARITIME MAGIC 2015 PRESENTED BY ONEMAIN FINANCIAL Baltimore’s favorite event on the waterfront, benefiting disadvantaged youth served by Living Classrooms Foundation 29th Annual Maritime Magic Will Be Held September 25 and feature the legendary Maceo Parker and his Funk Orchestra WHAT: The best annual special event on the Baltimore waterfront celebrating and supporting the important work and 30th anniversary of Living Classrooms Foundation. WHEN: Friday, September 25th, 2015 - 7:00pm. WHERE: Living Classrooms’ Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park: 1417 Thames Street, Fells Point. COST: Tickets are $110 per person in advance, and $120 per person at the door. Reserved tables of 10 are available for $2,000. Sponsorship packages are available. SILENT AUCTION: Bid on fabulous items from vacation packages to gift certificates to sports memorabilia and more! ENJOY: Great food catered by over 80 of Baltimore’s top restaurants and caterers, accompanied by beer, wine, special liquor samples, soft drinks, and a cash bar. Maritime Magic will feature music by legendary Maceo Parker (the backbone of James Brown's band for nearly two decades) and his Funk Orchestra, as well as awesome jazz music indoors. Enjoy a great crowd and ambiance – over 2,500 guests attend Maritime Magic – and an auction with fabulous items. Come in casual, festive attire and enjoy a pleasant evening under the stars with a great view of Baltimore’s Harbor. Great Cause: Maritime Magic is a benefit in support of the innovative hands-on education and job-training programs provided by Living Classrooms Foundation. Living Classrooms works primarily with youth and young adults living in high-risk environments in the Baltimore and Washington, DC areas. Living Classrooms gives youth the skills needed to turn their lives around, continue their education, and achieve success in the workplace.
