You’ve heard it, you’ve been told it, you may have even said it on occasion. “Everything happens for a reason.” At first glance, this bit of pop theology may sound like the celebrated Ignatian ideal of “Finding God in all Things.” But how similar are these ideas, really? What do they suggest about God, about our relationship with God, and about how we make sense of our own story? St. Ignatius Catholic Community will hold a lecture on these very issues on with Fr. Timothy O'Brien, SJ.
