Barber will deliver opening night remarks for Dark Humor: Joyce J. Scott and Peter Williams, which was inspired by Dark Humor: African American Art from the University Museums, University of Delaware, an exhibit she curated in 2015 tenure as the Alfred Appel Jr. Curatorial Fellow. Barber is pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Rochester in New York.
