Local author Quinn presents an amazing, but little known true story. During WWI, French aristocrat Louise de Bettignies, nicknamed “The Queen of Spies,” ran a network of about 100 people in France, smuggling soldiers behind enemy lines to safety and collecting intelligence for the English.
