Hot Club of Baltimore, featuring guitarist Michael Joseph Harris, performs gypsy jazz from the bebop-influenced period of Django Reinhart, from his 1949-50 recording in Rome. With Eddie Hyrbyk (bass), Todd Simon (piano), Clarence Ward III (tenor sax), and Dominic Smith (drums), and guest vocalist Alexis Tantau. Hot Club has recently released its 2nd album, Coquette. Hot Club and related trio Ultrafaux have been touring the East Coast and will tour the West Coast in July.Shows at 8 and 9:30 pm.
