The 5k Race… The 5k race course is on a series of paved and unpaved trails through scenic Kinder Farm Park. Participants may run or walk and will be timed. The Fun Walk… The Fun Walk course is a one mile loop through scenic Kinder Farm Park with fun views of the barns and farm animals at the park. The Fun Walk is untimed and appropriate for all ages and abilities. Other Events… Join us for a 25 yard dash for kids up to 4 years old, a 50 yard dash for kids 5 and over, a Hula Hoop contest and other fun events! There is no charge for the 25 yard and 50 yard dashes for the little ones, the Relay Races and Hula Hoop Contests are free as well. Join us for fun demonstrations of some of our most popular classes including Zumba, Karate, Dance and BioFitness. We'll also have information on all of our upcoming Fall Programs available throughout the county. All proceeds from our Hop(e) Skip and Jump event will go to Kids at Hope and Recreation Deeds for Special Needs. Here at the Department of Recreation and Parks we believe All Children are Capable of Success, NO EXCEPTIONS!
