Once a year the Soldiers Delight visitor center allows the public to tour its private aviary, home to rehabilitated raptors and other animals that serve as ambassadors in Patapsco Valley State Park's Scale & Tales program. Make a craft in our visitor center, toast marshmallows in a hundred-year-old cabin, take a (safe) peek at the sun through a solar scope, enjoy a grog and peruse nature books for sale as you enjoy a baked treat from our bake sale! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
