This year’s time-honored annual tradition of steeplechase racing and family-friendly fun will celebrate cancer survivors by attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cancer awareness ribbon—right in the infield of Shawan Downs. Stretching a mile and a half long, the lavender ribbon is a symbol of GBMC’s commitment to the fight against all cancers. Proceeds will benefit the oncology services at GBMC HealthCare to ensure a healthier future for for all.
