Dan Samuels Founder of FrimFram Productions Baltimore, MD 215 630 6005 When Excitement for Fall Mixes With the End-of-Summer FUNK Baltimore, MD - August 26, 2015 - FrimFram Productions and UNION Craft Brewing are teaming up to host The Fall 2015 Balt-Alt-Funk-Soul Spectacular on September 9. In memory of summer and in honor of fall, the two organizations are proud to present Cory Henry (Grammy Award winner with Snarky Puppy) & The Funk Apostles at The Metro Gallery on 1700 North Charles St. The event will also feature local favorite Black Root Underground, while the bar will serve two UNION Craft Brewing Balt Altbiers for the price of one. FrimFram Productions is a company founded by Dan Samuels, with a mission that includes bringing high-quality nationally and internationally touring music groups to Baltimore; finding fun, well-paying, good-feeling gigs for Baltimore's understated soul music scene; and bringing live music to parts of the city that don't often see it: "Connecting people who probably need to know each other is something that comes naturally to me, and five years of producing large-scale festivals on a national level has very much informed the work I do here at home,” says Dan. “Baltimore is brimming with incredibly talented and soulful songwriters and artists who deserve help connecting with good gigs and people in Baltimore and beyond... And on the flip side: People and musicians in and around our fair city deserve a taste of the medicine that these groups are producing. I am thankful for every opportunity that comes my way to present someone fantastic in Baltimore that folks haven’t seen or heard before." Events like The Reservoir Hill Resource Fair and Music Festival, Light Up Lexington, and The Balt-Alt-Funk-Soul Spectacular have helped further the above stated missions for the last 5+ years. The second installment of The Balt-Alt-Funk-Soul Spectacular is also the second official partnership between FrimFram Productions and local favorites UNION Craft Brewery, but it certainly won't be the last you hear from this dynamic duo.
