Spoken word artist Kondwani Fidel hosts this evening of spoken word and hip-hop. The 22-year old artist and activist has been called the "poet laureate" of Baltimore's Luzerne Avenue by Baltimore City Paper. Over the spring Fidel worked with Frederick Douglass High School students, in Baltimore’s Mondawmin neighborhood, to create spoken word reflections on the Baltimore Uprising. The students will share the pieces alongside Fidel and other up-and-coming emcees, poets, and DJs.
