The February First Friday concert features Trio Appassionata, a piano trio comprised of graduates of the Peabody Conservatory. Acclaimed as “three of this generation’s most gifted artists,” the trio has performed internationally from Carnegie Hall to the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing. This concert will explore the passacaglia form in the piano trio literature, presenting a program of works by Haydn, Shostakovich, Ravel, and a new work by Andrea Casarrubios.
